Help · Report a scam

How to report a scam.

The faster you report, the more useful your report is — both to disrupting the scam and to recovering funds.

What to capture before it disappears

Full URL of the scam page (copy from the address bar, don't retype), screenshots of the page and any messages received, sender phone numbers or email addresses, payment-rail details (bank name and account number, card BIN, crypto wallet address), and timestamps in your local time zone. Save the original message as well as a screenshot — message metadata is often more useful than the visible text.

Order of operations

1) Stop responding to the scammer; 2) Take screenshots; 3) Contact your bank if money has moved; 4) Change passwords on any account that may have been compromised; 5) File reports with the relevant authorities; 6) Submit to FraudRadar for active disruption.

Frequently asked questions

Should I report even if I didn't lose money?
Yes. Near-miss reports are some of the most useful — they often include fresh infrastructure that hasn't yet harmed anyone, giving disruption teams the maximum window to act.
Will reporting expose my identity?
Reports to FraudRadar can be made anonymously. Reports to Action Fraud and other authorities are confidential and not shared with the alleged scammer.
What if the scam is on social media or an app store?
Use the in-platform report tool first (this often produces the fastest takedown), then file a separate report with FraudRadar so we can correlate with other surface activity.
